Toni Braxton and Babyface Shares The Highs And Lows On Duet Album 'Love, Marriage & Divorce'

Except a top rated reality show on WEtv, it's been several years since we heard anything from R&B legend Toni Braxton and her male counterpart Babyface in terms of music. Their first collaboration, "Give U My Heart", was a top forty hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart back in 1992. Now together again on their first duet album, 'Love, Marriage & Divorce', the singers aims to re capture the older audience with mostly slow ballads about love, heartbreak, bitter break-ups and forgiveness. The album starts off with mid tempo track "Roller Coaster" which sets the tone for the rest of the CD. In lead single, radio friendly "Hurt You", the pair sings over contemporary beats with lines such as "God knows I never meant to hurt you/ Never meant to break your heart baby".

Braxton and Babyface together on the same album turns out to be a perfect match, the album is not without some skippable tracks however, like "I Hope That You're Okay" and follow-up "I Wish" where a bitter Braxton sings "I hope she gives you a disease." The absolute highlight on the album is the 1970's disco tune "Heart Attack" which is the catchiest song the duo yet has offered.
